My approach

How I'll work with you

My approach is grounded in Person Centred (Talk) Therapy, enriched by the Hakomi Method — a somatic ( body-oriented ) approach. In Person Centred Therapy, I trust that you are the expert of your own life, my role is to walk alongside you as you access your own understanding with my support.

We can only change what we are aware of. My work focuses on helping you access deeper levels of understanding, moving towards meaningful and lasting change, at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

Your story matters

There may be many reasons that bring someone to therapy, and your story really matters in its own right. I understand that reaching out can feel like a big decision. When you feel ready to take that step, I’d warmly welcome hearing from you.

What people bring

You may recognise yourself here

You don't need a clear diagnosis or the right words. Here are some of the things people bring to our work together.

Life feeling heavy

Sometimes life becomes overwhelming in ways that are hard to name. You might feel low, exhausted, or as though you’re carrying something too heavy to hold alone.

AnxietyDepression & low moodStressBurnoutCoping skillsEmotional disturbance

Relationships & connection

Our relationships with others — and with ourselves — shape so much of how we feel. Difficulties here can leave us feeling lost, hurt, or deeply alone.

Difficult experiences

Painful or traumatic experiences — whether recent or long ago — can leave a lasting mark on how we feel and how we move through the world. This work is held gently and at your pace.
