Individual therapy Dublin
A space to understand what's happening for you
Perhaps you’ve been carrying something for a long time. Perhaps life has recently become overwhelming. Perhaps you’re not even sure what’s wrong — only that something is.
Psychotherapy offers a safe, confidential, one-to-one space to begin to make sense of your experience — at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My approach is grounded in Person Centred (Talk) Therapy: warm, non-directive, and built on a deep trust that you are the expert of your own life.

Walking alongside you, at your own pace
Rather than directing or prescribing, I follow your lead. Person Centred Therapy is built on the belief that you already hold the capacity for growth and change — my role is to create the conditions in which that becomes possible.
Sessions are a space to slow down, to speak freely, and to be genuinely heard — often for the first time. Over time, patterns become clearer, and what felt stuck begins to shift.
Understanding that leads to lasting change
We can only change what we are aware of. Psychotherapy helps you access deeper levels of self-understanding — the patterns, beliefs and experiences that shape how you feel and how you move through the world.
This work is also enriched by the Hakomi Method — a body-centred, mindfulness approach that gently brings awareness to what lies beneath the surface of words alone.
You may recognise yourself here
Life feeling heavy
Sometimes life becomes overwhelming in ways that are hard to name. You might feel low, exhausted, or as though you’re carrying something too heavy to hold alone.
Relationships & connection
Our relationships with others — and with ourselves — shape so much of how we feel. Difficulties here can leave us feeling lost, hurt, or deeply alone.
Difficult experiences
Painful or traumatic experiences — whether recent or long ago — can leave a lasting mark on how we feel and how we move through the world. This work is held gently and at your pace.
Sense of self
Questions about who you are, what you want, or why you keep repeating patterns that don’t serve you. This work can be quietly transformative.
FAQ's
Am I bad enough to need therapy?
You don’t need to be in crisis. Many people who seek support are simply carrying more than they can hold alone — and that is enough. If something is getting in the way of you living the life you want, therapy can help.
I don't know where to start — is that okay?
Absolutely. Most people don’t arrive with a clear agenda. You can come with a specific issue, a vague feeling, or simply a sense that something isn’t right. We start wherever you are.
How long will I need to come?
There is no fixed number of sessions. Some people find short-term work (6–12 sessions) helpful; others prefer longer-term therapy. We review together as we go, and you are always in charge of the pace.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed in sessions is held in strict confidence, in line with the IACP code of ethics. The only exceptions are very specific circumstances involving serious risk to safety — I explain these clearly at the outset.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I offer sessions via Zoom for clients throughout Ireland, as well as in-person sessions at my rooms at 7 Fitzwilliam Street Upper, Dublin 2.
How do I know if you're the right therapist for me?
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so we can get a sense of one another before you commit to anything. There is no pressure and no obligation.
